"Time Had Come A While Ago": Senior Supreme Court Advocate On Poll Panel Appointments
"The time had come a while ago. Election Commission has to be insulated from the executive. The best way to bring this about to bring in a legislation which sets out the criteria for selection," said Aman Lekhi, senior Supreme Court advocate, when asked whether the time has come make the process of appointment of the Election Commissioner more transparent.
