Nagaland got its first woman MLA, since it attained statehood 60 years ago, today, after Hekani Jakhalu, a candidate of the ruling NDPP - BJP's alliance partner in the state - won the Dimapur-III Assembly constituency. "The time is now for a woman Chief Minister," Ms Jakhalu told NDTV. "I am going to fight for women. My constituency is a very neglected constituency. I want to make it the best constituency. My topmost priority is finding a solution to the Naga political issue," she added.
