Time running out for N-deal: US
As the political drama over the deal plays out, a senior US Congressman Gary Ackerman has said there is virtually no time left in the US Congress to get the deal through. After meeting foreign secretary Shiv Shankar Menon in Delhi on Thursday, Ackerman said the US Congress would adjourn in September for the rest of the year. This could jeopardise the chances of the deal from realistically going through.
