Justice BV Nagarathna will be the country’s first woman Chief Justice of India in 2027. And this is the first time she has spoken publicly, since her elevation. Jusice Nagarathna spoke at the same event where Chief Justice of India NV Ramana addressed women lawyers of the Supreme Court, saying “it is time to break the glass ceiling and time for women to strive ahead.”
