Timing of Rate Cut by RBI Was a Surprise: Bank of India
Vijayalakshmi Iyer, CMD, Bank of India talks to NDTV about the surprise rate cut by RBI. She says there was an expectation of a 50-75bps rate cut and timing of the cut came as a surprise. There is still an expectation of a rate cut on 7th April and any substantial credit pick up will take another 2-3 quarters.
