In a development in the Tirupati laddu controversy the temple board has blamed former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for adulteration of prasad at the Tirupati temple. The board said adulteration happened under the Jagan government. Earlier, a special investigation team led by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested four people in connection with the alleged adulteration of the famous Tirupati laddus offered as prasad to devotees at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
