To Tackle Covid's Delta Strain, Reduce Gap Between 2 Doses: Dr Sandeep Budhiraja

Talking about the role of COVID-19 vaccines in the fight against the Novel Coronavirus, Dr Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director of Max Healthcare suggests vaccinating fast, addressing vaccine hesitancy and reducing the gap between the two doses. With the Delta strain of COVID-19, one dose of vaccine gives you about 30-40 per cent of protection. We definitely want that to be above 50-60 per cent which can happen with the second dose, says Dr Budhiraja.
