"Today Was A Turning Point": Yogendra Yadav On Citizenship Act Protests
Swaraj Abhiyan chief Yogendra Yadav, who had been detained for protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act in New Delhi, said today was the turning point as protests turned nationwide from regional. Saying that we have "forgotten" about unemployment in the country, Mr Yadav said nation needs "National Register of Unemployed" and not NRC. Calling the Jamia violence as the trigger, Mr Yadav said the protests were not directed by any political party or organisation.
