Tomato prices ride through the roof in Jammu
Tomatoes are an important ingredient of Kashmiri food and while pulses and other vegetables in Jammu have risen only gradually the price of tomatoes has escalated drastically. Naresh Kumar has been selling vegetables in Jammu's Nai Basti market for 15 years. But these days he spends more time explaining the sharp rise in tomato prices to his customers.
