The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India today ended the long going debate on differential pricing of data services. While supporting net neutrality, India's telecom watchdog said that it won't allow any internet service provider to offer or charge discriminatory tariffs based for data services on basis of content. The order came as a big blow to Facebook's Free Basics. The social networking giant issed a statement saying that despite setback it will continue its efforts to eliminate barriers and give the unconnected an easier path to the internet.
