TRAI to auction base price for 3G spectrum

3G services may soon be available by the end of next year. Telecom regulator TRAI's recommendations are in, but telecom companies will have to fork out a tidy sum, which means 3G services will not come cheap. Auction the airwaves says the telecom regulator and the auction starts with the base prices.
