Travel agents' strike to ground fliers
Looking forward to taking off for the long Independence Day weekend? Well, if you've decided to fly to your dream vacation destination, you could quite well be grounded. That's because travel agents across the country plan to strike work on August 14 to protest against airlines' refusal to pay them the 5% commission they are due on airline tickets. Airlines have instead asked agents to pass on the fee to the customer - something that will hit business.
