Tribal Students Protest In Manipur Over Alleged "Educational Negligence" By Government

In a significant development today, thousands of students from the Kuki-Zo community of Manipur including those who are pursuing professional courses organised a protest rally in Manipur's Churachandpur to protest against what they claimed as "educational negligence" by the state government.  Led by the  Joint Student Body (JSB), the rally against the alleged discrimination of students belonging to the Kuki-Zo community saw thousands of students from various private and government colleges and schools of the district.
