Triple Talaq Bill About "Justice For Women," Government Tells Parliament | Read

The Triple Talaq Bill, which aims to curb the controversial Islamic practice of instant divorce, is about "gender justice, dignity and equality", Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said today as he tabled the bill in Rajya Sabha this afternoon. He said the matter should not be "politicized". "Do not make it a vote bank issue, " he told the house.
