The flood situation in Tripura has turned critical, with the death toll rising to 19 and over 17 lakh people affected. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has retained its Red Alert for all eight districts, warning of more heavy rains. Over 65,000 people have been displaced, with 450 relief camps set up across the state. Additional NDRF teams have been airlifted to Tripura to assist in rescue and relief efforts as the situation continues to deteriorate.
