Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that because of the development under Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule, tourism in the state rose 11 times. Addressing a rally after flagging off the 'Jan Vishwas Yatra', Amit Shah said "In its 50-year history, Tripura has been under Communist rule for more than three decades. I want to just ask, the violence and the cadre-based rule that was prevalent in the Communist time, is it seen today?"
