Tripura Cops Draw Flak For Invoking Anti-Terror Law Against Social Media Handles
There has been no flare-up after incidents of vandalism of mosques and alleged attacks on properties of Muslims in north Tripura in the last week of October. But Tripura police is now drawing flak, starting from the opposition parties to the Editors Guild and activists, after it listed over 100 social media handles in a fake news circulation investigation in which tough laws like UAPA have been invoked.
