Although Diwali celebrations are muted due to the coronavirus pandemic this year, it is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in the country. It is a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel attended the Ayodhya “Deepotsav”, the first since the ground-breaking ceremony earlier this year of a Lord Ram temple in the town.
