Tropical Butterfly Conservatory Carries Out Public Awareness

 Tropical Butterfly Conservatory gave awareness to the public about the importance of the butterfly and its ecology. It is located in the Upper Anaicut Reserve Forest, sandwiched between the Cauvery and Kollidam rivers in Tiruchirappalli of Tamil Nadu. The park is spread over 27 acres and known as Asia's Largest Butterfly Park. "Till date, we have identified 128 species of butterflies in the park. Over 200 plant species present," said G Kiran, District Forest Officer, Tiruchirappalli.
