In today's episode of US Election Watch, former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is driving anti-immigrant fears in his final arguments in the race to the White House. At a rally in Madison Square Garden, Trump called the US 'an occupied state', reaffirming his hardline stance on immigration and promising to deport millions of undocumented immigrants if he wins the 2024 presidential election. Trump's rally also drew a lot of flak after some of Trump's top supporters flung race-based and vulgar rhetoric. Former congressional candidate David Rem called Harris the "antichrist" and "the devil," while Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." NDTV's Ankit Tyagi speaks to former Biden advisor Jonah Blank, Republican Strategist Matt Klink and immigration expert Ajay Sharma.
