President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance berated Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Ukraine’s leader sought security guarantees as the U.S. tries to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war during a heated Oval Office meeting on Friday. Trump told Zelenskyy he was being disrespectful as Zelenskky was pushing for U.S. security commitments to keep his country safe from further Russian aggression. Trump suggested that Zelenskyy wasn't in a position to be demanding concessions. "You’re not in a good position. You don’t have the cards right now,” Trump said pointing his finger toward Zelenskyy. “With us you start having cards.”
