Two Journalists Covering Sabarimala Protests Attacked, Car Smashed | Read
Armed, masked mobs today targeted women mediapersons who had gone to cover the protests near Kerala's Sabarimala temple and vandalized their vehicles. Vehicles and reporters from at least four media organisations were targeted - in some cases in presence of the police, the reporters said. One reporter from Republic TV was beaten with sticks, another from The News Minute was kicked on the spine. Besides Republic TV and The News Minute, personnel from News 18, CNN-IBN and Aaj Taj were also targeted.
