An exit poll indicated a landslide election win for the Keir Starmer-led Labour party and a crushing loss for Rishi Sunak's Conservatives. As early trends seem to mirror the Exit Polls, author Kishwar Desai speaks highly of the 'changed' Labour Party under Starmer, who is a former human rights lawyer advocate. Alleging that UK is done with lies, and the country cannot be run by unelected leaders anymore, she claims people have voted for Starmer because he reflects being truthful and promises to bring change to the struggling UK  economy.

he United Kingdom is on the brink of a significant political shift as the country voted in a parliamentary election on July 4 that is expected to bring Keir Starmer's Labour Party to power. As per predictions, Starmer is heavily favoured to win a historic mandate and the Conservatives, led by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, are going to face their worst defeat in 14 years.
