UN Panelist Garvita On A Mission To Reduce Water Wastage
Young Garvita Gulhati is on a mission to save water and create awareness among people in India. She started supporting environmental causes at the age of 13 when she first learned that water wastage by customers, who casually leave half-drunk glasses of water in restaurants amounts to 14 million litres of water wastage, every year globally. She has now founded the "Why Waste" foundation and app and has been recognised as a Global Changemaker and an Ashoka Youth Changemaker.
