Unconventional ways of Assamese Muslims
The Rehmans are breaking the roza fast. And now it's time for prayers. Even though the men are wearing skull caps, and some of the women are covering their heads, for the Assamese Muslims this is just customary - whether in towns or in the villages. For example, none of the women gathered here for iftaar have ever worn a burkha.
