Uneasy calm at POSCO project site
Ten days ago, hundreds of people claiming to be supporters of Korean steel company POSCO attacked members of the local POSCO Pratirodh Sangram Samiti.The Samiti has been on an anti-displacement agitation for the last two-and-a-half years, preventing POSCO from acquiring even an inch of the 4004 acres of land it needs for its 12 million tonne steel plant and private port.
