Union minister in murder case

Union Minister for Small Scale Agro and Rural Industries, Mahavir Prasad, has been named as a co-accused in a murder case in Uttar Pradesh. UP Police in Gorakhpur have filed a murder case against three people including Prasad. This comes after the Allahabad High Court ordered the police to do so. Mahavir Prasad allegedly used his influence to protect two people suspected of killing a man in Gorakhpur over a property dispute.
