The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has crossed the halfway mark in the Lok Sabha elections, but the lead is narrower than what exit polls had predicted. The NDA is currently ahead on 294 seats, while the opposition INDIA alliance is ahead on 231. As NDTV decodes the election results, Union Minister Kiren Rijijujoins us for an exclusive conversation as he leads from his seat, "In my home state, Arunachal Pradesh, we are completely winning the elections as per our expectation, there are a few trends that are opposite of what we expected, the support for NDA is there and PM Modi will become the PM for the third time", he said.
