Unique innovation: Bangalore man develops water heater
Bangalore's DA Prakash has found an ingenious method to cut down the consumption of firewood by nearly fifty per cent by developing a low-cost water heater. A common feature in south Indian villages, the Neeru Ule can also be found in some homes in Bangalore city. It is basically a tumbler surrounded by a wall of cement and bricks with place for firewood.
