Court Order On Interfaith Marriages Sparks Hope, But Will It End Harassment?

The mandatory display of notices for marriage of interfaith couples will be optional from now, the Allahabad High Court said on Wednesday. "Right-wing Hindu groups have boastfully told us about their sources in the (marriage) registrar's office, the police department, the magistrate's office, which give them tip-offs when an interfaith couple comes to register their marriage," says Ananya Bharadwaj of ThePrint.
