Visuals from Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on Tuesday shocked the nation - the local police cracked down on a protest over a railway board exam, randomly barged into hostels , broke open doors, and allegedly assaulted and abused students they suspected of having been part of that protest. Alok Pandey and Rajesh Gupta revisited the area to find worried students, mostly from poor and rural background who spend years in small rooms preparing for government entrance exams, who tell NDTV the struggle is not just about an exam or two but over institutional delays.
