Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad has reported a rise in dengue, with hospitals teeming with children who are suffering from viral fever and dehydration. NDTV visited Firozabad District Hospital, the dengue epicentre, to see the arrangements in place and how the administration is responding to the crisis. The principal of the medical college in the town treating patients said there was a rain of cases. "Normally dengue comes in monsoon season. It was a rain of cases. One or two cases are usually there. It is the only main hospital here taking the load of cases...We moved patients into the Covid block as cases started rising," said Dr Sangeeta Aneja, the Firozabad District Hospital.
