Congress's Salman Khurshid, Wife Cast Vote In UP's Farrukhabad
As the voting for 59 assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh began on Sunday, Congress leader Salman Khurshid and his wife Louise Khurshid cast their votes at polling booth number 295 in Farrukhabad. "Feeling euphoric. Because of Priyanka Gandhi everywhere I went women expressed interest in voting," said Louise Khurshid. As many as 627 candidates are in the fray for 59 assembly constituencies. Voting will conclude at 6 pm today. The 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly are being held in seven phases. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. (Video credit: ANI)
