10 Newborns Killed In UP Hospital Fire, Families Recount Harrowing Details
Ten newborns died after a massive fire broke out at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Jhansi Medical College late Friday evening. Visuals from outside the medical college showed panic-struck patients and their caretakers. Heartbreaking visuals showed relatives wailing for the children who died in the fire. Hospital officials said 54 infants were admitted to the NICU ward and 44 of them could be rescued.
