UP Madrasa Board to train women for work
The Madarsa Education Board, which controls nearly 2000 madarsa's across Uttar Pradesh is now planning to make Muslim women self-employed. They have often come under the scanner for hardline approach and their role in supporting fundamentalism, but now madarsas in UP are trying to turn a new leaf.
