Schools in Uttar Pradesh, which had been shut since March, reopened from Monday. But most private schools in Noida still remain shut as parents have decided not to send children to attend classes despite comprehensive Covid protocols in place. However, government schools across Noida have reopened and several students turned up. All students are being thermally scanned at the entry and are being seated in classes with all social distancing rules in place. Isolation rooms are also there in case any student develops symptoms and medical authorities of the area will be immediately contacted. Classes for students in Classes 9 and 10 are being held from 8 am to 11 am while for students of Class 11 and 12, classes are held from 12 pm to 3 pm. Students said that while the experience with all the protocols feels different, it is better to get a grasp of certain topics through personal interactions with the teachers.
