20 villagers in Uttar Pradesh's Siddharthnagar district on the border with Nepal, 270 km from Lucknow, were administered two different vaccines as part of their first and second doses at a rural UP govt hospital. The incident took place at a Primary Health Centre in the district where these villages were first administered 'Covishield' in the first week of April and then give 'Covaxin' as their second dose on the 14th of May. The Chief Medical Officer of Siddharthnagar has called it 'oversight'.
