UPA-II government completes 2 years in office today
Dogged by scams and unable to move ahead on economic reforms in a big way, the UPA government headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh steps into the third year of its second term on Sunday. For 79-year old Singh, who is into his second term as the Prime Minister after Sonia Gandhi refused to assume the office after the UPA's first win in the general elections of 2004, it has been testing few months for him.
