Urdu Newspaper Protests Against Telangana Government Over Blocked Ads
Munsif, India's largest Urdu newspaper, has printed a blank editorial act of defiance against the Telangana government. The Congress-led administration, under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has blocked government advertisements to Munsif for the past four months without any explanation after the newspaper's reporting on governance failures, law and order issues, and the concerns of marginalized communities.
