US Army And Kenya Defence Forces Participate In Joint Training Exercise
The US Army through Justified Accord 2025 (JA25) conducted a multinational crisis response readiness training for 1,700 personnel from over 15 countries. This is the largest US and Africa command military exercise in East Africa. The exercise was led by US Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) and hosted by Kenya, Djibouti and Tanzania, from Feb 10 to 21. Kenyan soldiers received specialized training on chemical, radiological disaster response bolstering regional emergency response capabilities. JA25 is the premier US Africa Command (USAFRICOM) exercise in East Africa, designed to strengthen crisis response capabilities & empower allies.
