US-Taliban Prisoner Swap: What Does it Mean for India?
It's straight out of the popular US serial Homeland - at least the release part of it. The only American Prisoner of War - Sgt Bowe Bergdahl is free. He was released in a Qatar-brokered deal for five Afghan Taliban leaders. While he recuperates from his five-year imprisonment, the question is: will this lead to a renewed attempt at re-integrating the Taliban - as the US prepares its troop drawdown? And what does it mean for India?
