US To Open Next Batch Of Student Visas In Two Weeks: US Envoy Eric Garcetti
US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti on May 15 during his visit to Sabarmati Ashram talked about the issue of US student visas. While talking to the mediapersons, he said that they are opening up the next batch of student visas in the next couple of weeks. "In the next couple of weeks, we are opening up the next batch of student visas and we are assigning our workers to focus on it as much as they can. I think we will show that this year we will be able to go past the earlier numbers and get to an even higher number. The President has told me to reduce visa issuance time not just for students but also for first-time visitors," said US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti.
