Study Links Hair Straighteners To Uterine Cancer: Are Chemical Relaxers Safe?
Several women in the US have gone to court questioning the safety of hair straightening products. In their petitions, the women allege that the use of chemical hair straighteners caused them uterine cancer. A study by the National Institutes of Health in the US found that the risk of uterine cancer was higher among those women who regularly use these products. Several big companies have been mentioned in the lawsuits.
