USHA Kushalta Ke Kadam is celebrating the success and freedom of its Silai Heroes. The Silai Schools have skilled more than 6.75 lakh women across 28 states and 8 Union territories of India. These schools are present in 439 districts of India. The Silai schools are also present Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. In this initiative, 1 per cent of every sewing machine sale contributes to women empowerment.
