USHA Revives Manipur’s Ancient Martial Art Form, Thang-Ta
Manipur's indigenous sport, Thang-Ta, which goes as far back as the 17th century and uses swords and spears is fast dying. To nurture the local communities and sports at the grassroots level and to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among the masses, USHA organised a two day Thang- Ta competition.
