Many renowned corporates have partnered with USHA who want to bring about a change in the lives of rural women through skill and entrepreneurship development. The program provides customized models for the corporates for implementing their CSR programs. Partnership with Aavas Foundation, set up by Aavas Financiers Limited has set up 150 USHA Silai Schools in Rajasthan and would be setting up 100 in Gujarat, this year. Partnership with Balrampur Chini Mills Limited and the intervention near their plant areas is reviving life of women like Kirti, a separated woman and single mother. This partnership has resulted in opening 25 Silai Schools last year and will open 35 more in the current financial year. Pooja Tripathi, a widow and mother of two children, one suffering from mental disability, is leading a better life with help from the earnings from Silai School. She has also managed to open a shop on her own.
