Usha Swavalamban Silai School Program Empower Rural India's Women
In the past three years, SIDBI and USHA have come together for Mission Swavalamban, an initiative aimed at offering micro-enterprise opportunities to marginalised women through the Usha Swavalamban Silai School Program. Recently, USHA collaborated with Tata Power to provide these schools with solar-powered machines, leading to a substantial boost in production capacity. The introduction of solar-powered sewing machines has further enriched the learning experience for the women involved.
