Uttarakhand: 40 Workers Still Trapped Inside Tunnel

Five days after an under-construction tunnel collapsed in Uttarakhand and trapped 40 labourers, a special machine was flown to the spot to expedite the rescue work. The new drill will bore through the rock and insert a less than three feet wide pipe through which the labourers can crawl through. Meanwhile, rescuers are regularly communicating with the trapped workers to keep their morale high.
