Uttarakhand Fires: Natural Or Man-Made Disaster?
Smoke everywhere - two words that describe the situation of large parts of Uttarakhand. Weeks after these forest fires began, the situation in the state has now become a national issue. Forest fires are not new to the state and happen every year, but what's different this year is the intensity of the fires and extent of damage. This has made the job of fire fighters on the ground and the Indian Air Force even more difficult in curbing something now out of control.
