Weather Department Issues Yellow Rain Alert In Uttarakhand
The weather department has issued a yellow warning for Uttarakhand after rainfall intensity decreased today. India Meteorological Department director general Dr M Mohapatra said, "We have issued a yellow colour warning for Uttrakhand today as rainfall intensity has reduced today. We have issued a Red Colour Warning for Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. We were expecting a worse situation in Uttarakhand, which actually happened. Many places in Uttarakhand experienced 40-50mm raninfall."
